Kara Staiger is a graduate of Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Musical Theatre and Oral Roberts University with a Masters Degree in Education. Recent credits include: Sweeney Todd (Mrs Lovett) for Theatre Tulsa; Urinetown (Pennywise) for Playhouse Tulsa; Beauty and the Beast (Mrs. Potts) for Theatre Tulsa; Steel Magnolias (Truvy Jones) for American Theatre Company; Songs For a New World (Woman 2) for ATC; The Full Monty (Georgie) for The Wick; Rudolph(Mrs Claus) for Orlando Rep; and The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Jeannie) for Playhouse Tulsa. Choreography credits include: Legally Blonde, The Lion King Jr, Will Roger's Follies, Company, A Funny thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Young Frankenstein, The Who's Tommy, A Christmas Carol, Batboy the Musical, Zombies from the Beyond, The Rocky Horror Show, Moby Dick The Musical, Urinetown, Nanyehi, Beloved Woman of the Cherokee, Honky Tonk Angels, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, My Way, A Tribute to Frank Sinatra, . Directing credits include: The Last Five Years and Cinderella Complex. Kara has been staff for Patti Parrish School of Dance and Tulsa Youth Cabaret as well as a Master Class Educator with the Orbit Initiative. Kara is also a Cabarista, with performances of her cabaret Onward! At Summerstage Tulsa and The Rainbow Room.
